How can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets by choosing your film on our 2025 Program page and clicking on the ‘BOOK YOUR CINEMA TICKETS’ button. This will take you to Palace Cinemas’ website where you can choose your cinema and session time.

Can I order multiple movies at once?
Yes! You are able to buy multiple movie sessions at the same Palace venue. You can do this by pressing ‘ADD ANOTHER FILM’ when purchasing tickets to a film on Palace’s website.

Can I buy tickets at the theatre?
Yes, you can purchase tickets on the night at the cinema unless the film is sold out.

Is there an opening night event?
There is an Opening Night party with drinks and live Irish music in each city which starts at 6:30pm before the screening of FRAN THE MAN!

Are there Q&As this year?
All 12 of our cinema films this year have an exclusive Q&A with either the director, writer and/or stars of the film! This Q&A is included with your ticket and will be shown at the end of each film after the credits. This year, we are pleased to have:

How can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets by choosing your film on our 2025 Program page and clicking on the ‘BOOK YOUR ONLINE TICKETS’ button. This will take you to ACMI’s website where you can choose your film. You will need to create a free account with ACMI in order to complete your purchase.

All films in our online program are available for purchase now until 9 November 2026. Any films purchased now will become available for you to watch on ACMI’s site from 9 October 2026.

NOTE: CHRISTY is the only film in our cinema program that is not available online.

How long will I have to watch my film?

After renting a film on ACMI Cinema 3, you will have 48 hours to watch your film AFTER PRESSING PLAY. You can watch the film as many times as you like within those 48 hours.

NOTE: All films will expire on the 9 November 2026.

What devices can I watch on?

Besides PCs and Macs, you can also download ACMI’s Cinema 3 app available for Apple TVs and Android TV devices. You can also watch on Android tablets and phones using Chrome and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.

Can I stream from outside of Australia?

No. ACMI Cinema 3 is only available to those located in Australia.

Can I order multiple movies at once?
Yes! You are able to have multiple movies in your library at once in your ACMI account. We also suggest checking out our great-value bundle deals on ACMI if you are interested in renting multiple movies.

NOTE: Once you press play on the film, you will have 48 hours during which to view the film. Unplayed rentals will last until 9 November 2026.

I’ve rented my movies but can’t watch – why?
Currently, you are able to purchase presale rent tickets on ACMI’s website. These movies will become available for you to watch on ACMI’s site from 9 October 2026.

Are there Q&As this year?
