How can I buy tickets?
Tickets go on sale Thursday 10 September. From 10 September, you can buy tickets by choosing your film on our 2026 Program page and clicking the ‘Buy Tickets’ button next to your chosen screening session. This will take you directly to the session’s booking page on Palace Cinemas.

Alternatively, you can choose your city from the ‘Dates & Times’ dropdown menu and find your chosen screening session through there.

Can I order multiple movies at once?
Yes! You are able to buy multiple movie sessions at the same Palace venue. You can do this by pressing ‘ADD ANOTHER FILM’ when purchasing tickets on Palace’s website.

Can I buy tickets at the theatre?
Yes, you can purchase tickets on the night at the cinema unless the film is sold out.

Is there an opening night event?
There is an Opening Night party with drinks and live Irish music in every city (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra) which starts at 7:00 PM before the screening of CHASING MILLIONS!

Are there Q&As this year?
Nine of our cinema films this year have an exclusive Q&A with either the director, writer and/or stars of the film! This Q&A is included with your ticket and will be shown at the end of each film after the credits. This year, we are pleased to have:

How can I buy tickets?
Tickets go on sale Thursday 10 September. From 10 September, you can rent by choosing your film on our 2026 Program page and clicking the ‘Buy Tickets’ button next to ‘Online Across Australia’. This will take you to ACMI’s website where you can choose and rent the film. You will need to create a free account with ACMI in order to complete your purchase.

All films in our online program are available to rent from 10 September until 15 November 2026. Any films purchased before 8 October will become available for you to watch from 8 October.

NOTE: Some of our films are cinema-exclusives.

How long will I have to watch my film?
After renting a film on ACMI Cinema 3, you will have 48 hours to watch AFTER PRESSING PLAY. You can watch the film as many times as you like within those 48 hours.

All films will be taken off ACMI by 11:59 PM 15 November 2026, including unplayed films.

What devices can I watch on?
Besides PCs (Windows 10 and 11) and Macs (OSX 13 or later), you can also download ACMI’s Cinema 3 app available for Apple TVs (tvOS 12.0) and Android TV devices (Android 13 or later). You can also watch on Android tablets and phones using Chrome and on iPhones and iPads (iOS/iPadOS 13) using Safari.

Can I stream from outside of Australia?
No. ACMI Cinema 3 is only available to those located in Australia.

Can I order multiple movies at once?
Yes! You are able to have multiple movies in your library at once in your ACMI account. We also suggest considering our bundle deals on ACMI if you are interested in renting multiple movies.

I’ve rented my movies but can’t watch – why?
Before 10 September, you are able to purchase presale rent tickets on ACMI’s website. These films will become available for you to watch on ACMI’s site from 8 October 2026.
