OPENING NIGHT CRAIC

Join us for one of our famous Opening Night parties – a celebration of Irish culture, music and song in each of the Palace cinemas where our Festival is screening.

This year is extra special because our Opening Night film is CHASING MILLIONS, an Irish/Australian ‘dramedy’ heist film, inspired by a true story, sees a veteran Belfast detective (Christopher Eccleston) and a young Australian police officer (rising star, Madeleine Madden) investigating the biggest bank robbery in British history.

Filmed in Ireland, CHASING MILLIONS also features an excellent Irish cast and a soundtrack by Australia’s Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil).

Opening Night screenings will be followed by live and exclusive Q&As with the filmmakers and artists, including Madeleine Madden, director Stephen Burke and producer Jane Doolan.
